LIVE MUSIC! HAGGIS! WHISKY! FANCY DRESS!
This night is traditionally known as a celebration of the life and work of Scotland’s national poet, Robert Burns. The Lighthouse plans to honour the occasion with music, haggis, whisky and fancy dress! Graham Knibbs and Davey Slater from folk group Kelter will be playing a selection of jovial traditional Scottish tunes, complete with a guest uilleann piper!
You are also invited to witness the ‘piping of the haggis’. A theatrical ceremony, which involves an address to the aforementioned dish by guest master of ceremonies, Peter Kelly. The haggis will then be served up for whoever would like to try it.
A selection of discounted quality whiskies will be available on the night.
Traditional and not-so traditional fancy dress is encouraged!
